to support "individuals and communities to create positive change through reflective and transformative practices."
The press extends this mission by providing a platform for us to share insights, experiences, and practical tools. All our publications reflect our values and are designed to promote mindful, compassionate action.
We hope to:
- Deepen reflective practice by offering processes and tools that help us pay attention to and understand our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world.
- Encourage transformative action by connecting these insights to practical, meaningful steps that we can take in our lives, personally, collectively, or both.
- Build community by helping equip us with the habits we need to recognize and foster a sense of belonging, mutual care, and mutual respect within ourselves and between one another.
- Focus on creating cultures of care that provide us with the best chance to live beautiful, creative, meaningful lives.
Currently, we are publishing books by Welcoming Path members. Our first publication (March 2025) was Time to Thrive: A Reflection Workbook for Parents and Caregivers of Young Autistic Children by Holly Ketchum (Author) and Caleb L Powell (Illustrator). Upcoming (planned) books include guided meditations, dialogical reflections on current events, and more!
Over time, we hope to extend these resources further by offering shared learning opportunities and supplemental resources, such as community hubs, classes, and support or practice groups.
Welcoming Path Press embodies a simple shared value: we believe in the power of these reflective and transformative practices to create meaningful change, personally and collectively. By sharing valuable resources in an accessible way, we hope to continue "to support one another in disrupting and subverting injustice while we create and sustain practices, resources, and connections that help us flourish as human beings in sustainable and just communities."
Thank you for your interest in and support of Welcoming Path Press!
